I got excited when my friend called to have her family's picture made for Halloween. She had already designed a card to drop in some images of them dressed as witches. But she wanted them all separate. I asked if I could get a couple of shots of them together so I could come up with my own design as well. I think the outcome was pretty sweet!
I used images that I had taken myself as the background and took a photo of our old cast iron pot for the foreground. I made a brush out of a cloud for the smoke and used a fence post for their stirring sticks. I used a path render filter in photoshop to create the wisps coming out of the pot.
I put together my own collage of the rest of the photos that we had taken for her card design. The flying candy is not a photoshop trick. We actually threw candy at her!
I used an image I took of a stone building in Enola for the background and a image of a flat rock covered in moss for the floor.
I put them all together for my final take on a bewitching Halloween trio!
