Usually, when I create a baby sleeping composite, I build with several different images. I piece together different layers to create the larger image. This time I actually built a nest. It started out with me first knitting a dress to match the scene that I had in my mind. And then the baby had to be born. Once I had the picture of the baby, I set off to build her nest. Luckily I had a warmer day, but it was a bit more cloudy and gloomy than I had hoped. A couple of times I got ready to put it all in the wheelbarrow and move it out of a rain shower, but after 3 hours and moving the nest to three different locations, I finally got the shot I wanted. Since her parents wedding had been at a wooded location and I had taken their photos, I thought this scene went along with their outdoor lifestyle.

But hey, you've gotta be girlie sometimes too!
